I'm building a private observatory for a customer, that I designed. I'm swingin' the hammers and gettin' the splinters.

I'm not a carpenter, nor am I an architect, nor an I an engineer. Yet, despite being none of those things, I'm gonna rock this thing out of the ball park better than any of them could.

I helped a friend assemble a skyshed pod last fall. He’s now motorizing it so it tracks with the scope.

Post pictures, that sounds super interesting.

at least I hope so..he did say he isn't an architect!! he's Ovaled, doesnt have the same ring.

It has to be done in time to see the stars! He's wisely giving himself a cushion so he can put tools away and wet his neck before it gets too dark.

Why are the walls not standing plumb? That's normally what ya do when ya raise and brace them....
