Advice from a bar stool
 

Yes, another pool tale...but a funny one many can relate to. Who hasn't put coins in a bar table only to receive unwanted "coaching" or an offer to play for money?

Not a rabid pool player but upstairs at the Airways Lounge near Chess Lamberton airport in western PA my pal laid a quarter down and he was 2nd or 3rd back. I went to the restroom, came out to see him arguing with another guy at the table, frighteningly animated. The other dude was pretty chill.

My pal walks back to the bar, thankfully without getting into it and I ask what happened. He says I put a Denver mint quarter down and he used it because the one remaining was a Philadelphia mint.

Thug life, I tell ya.
