I always felt my 4000s Quattro could have used more horsepower. Iain said he thought the engine was a 2 litre. Mine had a 2.2. The manually locking center and rear locking differentials were nice to have. I remember the first time turning from a snow covered street through a bare intersection. The front end started hopping because the diffs were locked. Lesson learned.
