Point the index finger of your front hand as you hold the foreend under the gun down the barrel. I thought everyone pretty much did that. It’s how I taught the kids.

Also the other thing that if it was mentioned I missed is - think of it like golf or tennis - you keep swinging after you hit the ball. Stopping the gun is a real easy way to miss. Based on a relatively small sample size - [good] target shooters struggle with this more than [adequate] tennis players. Google Churchill method for a better description.
