Anybody following this?
Not sure which facts to believe, but I do believe the trajectory predictions. This thing will barely miss mars, then disappear behind the sun for ~2 months. Imo going to be an interesting 2 months!

So passing Mars now.
Will be behind the Sun soon for about 2 months, out of view. Then around Xmas it will pass closest to Earth. Rumor is other "comets" are also heading this way. If I were planning on a planetary invasion, it's the EXACT trajectory I would take. Just saying. ![]() https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1Eb1dBeerC/ Galactic alliance? Oh my. Maybe the Avengers?

https://www.livescience.com/space/comets/comet-3i-atlas-is-losing-water-like-a-fire-hose-on-full-blast-rewriting-what-we-thought-we-knew-about-alien-star-systems
Please note the final sentence of the article, which seems obligatory these days: “Each [newly discovered comet] is rewriting what we thought we knew about how planets and comets form around stars." Last edited by Crowbob; 10-13-2025 at 04:25 AM.. |

When comets lose water, it is always on the sunny side.
This stream of water causes drift, meaning the object does not stay on its calculated trajectory. Like a ship being influenced by wind or currents. This object is staying on its calculated trajectory. There are also other comets converging on this one while it's hidden behind the sun. Weird, ehh?

3I/Atlas Comet?
Seems to be all over FB and plenty of stories out there. So, completely fake, or a possible visitation from another galaxy?
Unlike typical comets: -No tail -Light appears to be self generated -Almost pure nickel with no iron -Suspiciously accurate path through our solar system -Absolutely massive and many times larger than a comet should be The universe just chose a fight with common sense. Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb has recently restarted a controversy surrounding the enigmatic interstellar body called 3I/ATLAS, refusing to accept the label of "comet." Armed with new high-resolution images, Loeb contends that this object is not what we assume — and, quite possibly, might actually be something much more unusual. https://www.wionews.com/photos/latest-on-3i-atlas-where-is-it-headed-and-what-next-to-expect-from-interstellar-comet-1760414290121 https://www.theweathernetwork.com/ca/news/article/alien-comet-passed-mars-images-captured-by-spacecraft-when-can-we-see-it Like most things these days…I vote that the hype is click-bait (fake), but fun to think about until reality rears it’s ugly head.

Well, it’s not fake, NASA has a whole page on it….but it most definitely has some very interesting and unusual characteristics. It’s very interesting….personally I’m hoping it’s aliens!

BK has a mega thread on it..
Looks like it will barely miss Mars.... I'm curious how accurate the NASA models are....?

It swung by Mars to pick up supplies and more Draco reptilians for the invasion.
