Emelia Hartford is an uber "car guy"!

I often/usually click her videos when they pop up on YT or FB. Shes cute, but seems geniune with her enthusiasm and personality, and doesn't seem fake or overdone like so many young women on the 'Net. And nothing about her stuff screams "I've got an OF site/page/channel/whatever".

She seems to be an uber "car guy" which is super cool. She reminds me of some of the ladies that we've had/still have on the board here.

The variety of automotive interests that she has is awesome, from super cars to JDM cars to classic muscle. She's got some crazy boat vids too, but I haven't watched those.

In this video, she drives a superbird on the Goodyear test track in Texas on custom GY tires. Holy CARP! It sounds GOOD. Seeing/hearing the car go by at speed sent chills down my spine.

Here she is racing Pikes Peak in a Porsche

I watched her a few years ago before she got big time. Early vids were hard to watch. She has really done a good job building her channel . Now she is really making bank. And she is very easy to look at.

Yep, did y'all see the one where she bought a jet boat? She looks pretty darn good. I have watched a few of her videos until I saw one where she claimed to have found an "abandoned" Shelby Daytona Coupe. Turns out it was a Factory Five "kit" car that was sitting under a carport at a dudes house. Yeah, not "abandoned" at all and was total click bait!!!

Winning the gene pool sure has its advantages. I wonder how she got her start?

Early videos she was trying to mod Japanese cars in someone elses garage. Very low budget. Her dream is to be in movies but I dont see that coming.

I don't find much of her content compelling vs some of the 100 other youtube automotive channels.

She seems very sweet and genuine though. She is in a few major movies too has a pretty big role in Grantourismo (which I say is the same movie as coolrunnings but cars instead of bobsleds).

I'm normally not into overly modified cars, particularly when the mods are of the 'bolt-on' variety (I know she fabbed the exhaust) but this car is well executed and outrageous. Had me searching for 458 listings.

OK, thats cool. This is the first time I have seen her and she talking modified Ferrari's so I thought perhaps she was raised with a silver spoon. But if she worked herself into where she is now, kudos to her.

Her dad committed suicide at a young age and she says she lived in her car for a while, definately put some work in to get where she is.

How much did it cost to paint Toyota blue then Ferrari white? I imagine it was pretty steep each time, to do a Ferrari correctly.

On another note, don’t we all wish our significant others, had the same enthusiasm as we do for cars!

In one of the videos, it looks like she was offered $350k for the car. I think 458s go for just under $200K. It seems she has done a lot of the work herself so I’m gonna guess she will come out all right with that car.

Can you imagine?

Husband: “Hey honey, can you whip up a set of headers for me while I make us a sandwich?”

Haven't watched all the videos. Who's putting up the $$$ for these projects?

Mine does...she'd just swapped a 914 2.0 for a 2002Tii when I first met her

:

She gets $$$$$$ help from Chevy and other sponsors. The main income comes from YouTube . Ads and viewer minutes pay pretty well for the big YT channels.
