I have a bunch of them from Amazon, along with other power tools. The one good thing is they all use the same battery. So I have a ton of backup batteries all charged up and ready to go. Yhey are great for blowing leaves aroud and drying the nooks and crannies of my car!

(I'll likely get a rechargeable blower myself--pulling out the HUGE cord to do the back patios gets annoying). |

My only issue is that the lawn mower battery was defective out of the box and I haven't been able to return it because I can't find my receipt. I've been using the other tool's batteries which works but the lawn mower needs more juice and sometimes I have to swap batteries mid-mow. |

I'd like to get a battery powered blower, but I've got two 40+ year old, corded blowers that don't seem to want to die. I don't feel I can justify buying a new one and suppose I'll be using these forever. One is a Toro blower that putsout hurricane force winds.

Now that I’m in Arizona there doesn’t seem to be too many leaves falling off of trees. In fact, there ain’t a whole heck of a lot of trees in my yard. Just rocks and small bushes. |
Welcome to AZ, Craigster. Hope you enjoy our fine desert landscaping :)
I live much further south than you do and in much more temperate weather...we have trees. Was curious what people do as I watch those in my neighborhood take care of their yards (or not)...and it's a hodge podge. I generally blow (or just sweep) back TOWARD the house and then scoop up the pile when I get everything in a corner. |
