It's playing in the background while i work, but I can tell that I'm going to have to watch it again with more focus. Good stuff!

Wait.. i thought NOSTATIC was in that band??

Cajundaddy 09-05-2025 12:43 PM

Hey thanks for posting this, awesome show guys! Consider me a fan of your music and outlook on life.

Rattlesnake: NOSTATIC is an LA cat who is more of a jazz guy. Have seen him twice in LA over the years. Todd always puts together a really solid band of musicians.

A little known fact which came from an interview on the Peter Boyles show in Denver was when Peter asked Barry Fey (Denver's biggest rock promoter - now deceased) who the biggest band or act to ever come out of Colorado was. You would guess John Denver, because he was hugely popular.. but you would be wrong! What Barry said was "Without a doubt, it was Big Head Todd and the Monsters."

Peter and Barry used to have great conversations about rock and roll in Colorado...

I do wonder where Glenn Miller fit in as the ballroom at CU Boulder is named after him...
But then again the cafeteria is named after Alferd Packer...

Nice, a real life celebrity in OT. Going to college in the 90s I have a copy of sister sweetly on CD of course. I think I might have seen y'all at one of the popular festivals in the midwest at the time. HORDE or similar.

I started watching but my computer speakers aren't audiofile if you know what I mean. I'll definitely look for it when it hits the local PBS station so I can listen on my home theater system which is pseudo-audiophile quality.
I remember when I had access to AXS tv on our old cable system as I'd always try to catch the concerts they'd show, especially the ones from Red Rocks. I believe I've seen more than a few of your concerts from their broadcasts.
Pardon my ignorance but which member of the band are you?
Looking forward to hearing it on real speakers.

Weird, I cannot access here. I can find it on the affiliate station that is part of our cable package website but says unavailable ...

I know I've japed about it before but I'm really starting to think that BHTM are the Red Rocks house band.

The bass is a little loud and the whole mix is a tiny bit dark but that's ok. I also did the audio mix.

Been there, done that! January 18th, 2019 at Revolution Hall, Portland, Oregon with Los Colognes.

We collect porters from every concert we go to - 6 to 10 a year.

LOL .... the Stones kicked Ian outta the band because he was too!

Can't imagine what it must be like to be on stage at Red Rocks and feel right at home :)

While I have heard of the band, I have never heard your music.

I just started watching, enjoying the vocals and vibe of Broken Hearted Saviour. That guitar solo came out of nowhere. I am intrigued and look forward to the rest of the film. Super awesome too that the band has been together for so long. That alone is remarkable.

berettafan 09-06-2025 05:22 AM

fargin teared up at 34:46 and can't really explain why. Glad nobody was around when I saw that.
