Nah, I think the Sage Wall is a natural formation.

Yea I don't know, but it is interesting!!

Locally...
Some say Memphis, TN is named after the ancient capital of Egypt, Memphis.
There is also a "little egypt" portion of the Cumberland plateau not far from my house.
Also chatter that Norris Dam was built to cover up temples in the Powell Valley also near my house.
And lots of chatter that MANY dams were placed to cover up ancient sites.

Agree...same as the 'mysterious' Bimini Road, thought by some to be a remnant of Atlantis

Yep, also very cool.

The Sage wall doesn't hold a candle to some of the ruins in Central/South America.

And another similar natural phenomenon that is awe inspiring are columnar basalt, Devil's Mountain, Giant's causeway, etc...

This is pretty cool and along the same lines.

That's not old, hold my beer....

In the next village to me there is a late neolithic stone circle 2500BC and an early neolithic burial chamber 3800-3500BC

We get all jacked up about how some of our ancestors have been around here for two hundred and fifty years. Ha. I had a great talk yesterday with a guy whose roots go back twelve thousand years. You can carve a lot of rock in twenty centuries.

Yeah, we got nothin' over here that compares to your side of the globe. We've got some cool dinosaur stuff (you've got some too, I believe). But most of the stuff from people here is not as old or extensive as what you've got there.

I’m a believer! I’ve seen them with my own eyes!

Slightly off topic but relevant:

Underground cities all over the world, with some interconnected by tunnels hundreds of feet Underground and miles apart. No records of construction. We don't know how, when, why, or who built them. All over the world, so why not here?

And a myth about the Grand Canyon:

There are supposed to be something like 300 pyramids on this continent, 100 in North America and 200 in the South.

The non-public pyramid grave site of somewhat hated Qin Shi Huang aka 'first emperor over all' is supposed to have rivers of mercury and gems for the stars in the burial cavern.

BK911 09-25-2025 07:46 AM

Not just pyramids, but mounds.
Thousands of them in N. America.

Like the serpent mound in ohio:

Lines up with celestial events.
Really cool history that hopefully will eventually leak out.

onewhippedpuppy 09-25-2025 01:45 PM

It’s amazing how many things are visible around us from the past that we really can’t explain.

70SATMan 09-25-2025 01:46 PM

My family has hunted and collected Midwest artifacts for several generations. Yes, there are mounds. I grew up within a 1/4 mile from what we suspect is a mound but, has been farm fields for over 150 yrs.

Mounds yes. Stone Age evidence? Yes. Ancient highly advanced civilizations that have left no trace?? No, I don’t believe that.

An East European name meaning "over/between the mountain" or something like that.

Underground networks all over the planet.
Why not in the US?
Why is the Grand Canyon off limits?
It's even a no fit zone.
Why?

Kinda going slightly off track, but these underground cities in Turkey built ?? thousands of years ago with no record.
How are they connected with MILES of underground tunnels?
All before the wheel?
Crazy, ehh?

masraum 10-02-2025 08:19 AM

I didn't click the link, but yes, the underground "cities" in Turkey are amazing. One, Derinkuyu, is something like 14 levels and 85m deep and could hold 20k people. Another is 10 levels and 40m deep and could house 60k people for 3 months.
I think I've read that the stone that they had to dig through was relatively soft volcanic stone, and these folks were in a prime location that required extraordinary measures to stay safe from groups coming from the east (Persians, Mongols, etc...) and from the west (Greeks, Romans, etc...). And these are said to have been used off and one for hundreds of years by various groups which gives plenty of time for expansion into what we know of today.
