A New Younger Alexa

I replaced my Echo Show 10 with a new Show 11 because the screen was blotching in the lower right corner. (out of the one year warranty of course)
I plugged in the new one and was surprised that Alexa's voice is completely different. She sounds like a teenager now and has a sharp tone to it. I checked my Echo Dot and it's the new voice also. :)

Can you get her to call you "daddy"?

I think there is a choice in the app for changing the main users name...I should change it to Big Daddy.:D

Oh Man. You just made my day! :D:D:D

One day Siri on my iPhone turned into a man. I kinda like it. I don’t mind telling a man to STFU for berating me for something I did wrong. I always apologized to Siri.

You need to see if you can change her into an English, Irish, or Scottish babe (personal preference). May as well take the "younger woman" thing and bump it up a notch with the sexy accent of choice.

And she needs to be a red head :D:D:D

The only time I hear Alexa is when I question her....which is rare.

I use my Echo Show for pics that I have taken over the years. I have a few hundred pics stored on the Amazon Cloud...which is free if you have Prime. Just ask Alexa to 'show my pics' and they are randomly shown for about 10 seconds each...until I tell her to stop. (I sometimes just let them run for a day or two)

It's the only way I get to see them unless I go to Amazon and download them one by one....and the Show's 11 inch screen is incredible resolution and colors.

I have Siri set to Australian accent. It is really funny hearing her try to pronounce some of the Indian names or the Spanish names when using the GPS maps.

We bought my mom an Aura electric picture frame for Christmas a few years ago. When she got texts with photos of the g-grandkids, grandkids, etc..., she'd add them to the frame. I'm having the frame sent to my house from her place so now we get to see them.

I'm surprised that Amazon changed Alexa's voice. There must be a reason for it that we haven't heard.

Does it store them in the frame or use 'the cloud storage'?

My waze is set to British, and yeah, some of her pronunciations are entertaining.

It stores them in the cloud. You put an app on your phone (or ipad or can use a web page) that you use to add/remove photos.

The British chick in the Waze app recently changed too.

I was just thinking if moving it from one wifi to another....would it need to be reset?
Would be easy to do..if needed.
