The most impressive display of knowledge of how much a turn of a bolt causes change was when I had my SC corner balanced.
First time on the scales it was within 0.5% of perfect. I thought good I'm almost out of here. Nope.
Boss told the tech which screw and how much to turn it and sent him back to the pit to make the changes.
He made the changes and brought it back and it was perfect.
You guys who think it's silly to corner balance a street car just haven't had the chance to drive one that has been balanced. You really get to experience the true magic that is Porsche handling when you do balance them.

If someone thinks it's silly, it's because they have never done it.
People who critique without knowledge prolly have way too much to say on the internet.
Corner balance is a balance of different sorts, where stiction, friction and the "CO" of materials can drive a person crazy!
It's way harder than a tire balance

That along with even more important alignment. My '71S would drive and brake straight with no hands on the wheel at any speed. The tires were shaved and balanced. It was very easy to drive. If anyone remembers Tyson Schmidt, we had identical lap times in my car at big Willow. Of course I had much more time in it, so that has to be taken into consideration. But he complimented the setup.

The Lucid duck head has shipped, going to get old winter set this weekend so hopefully I can get them mounted before Christmas. Nothing on FBMP for balancers, when I placed the Lucid order, the owner just received one of these (I think based on his description) that day. Going to see how he likes it.

Most balance machines have button to push for " fine" adjustment.
Even older machines like the one i use.
Most shops will not use that as it will call out for a little more time, and higher skill level.
I agree, the devil is in the details
