Unseen Chrysler concept, the Andrea Doria and the MS Stockholm
This is a pretty interesting slice of history. I knew a tiny bit about the Andrea Doria, but this video fleshes out the story of the sinking of the vessel, with an intriguing subplot regarding Italian design studios, and concept cars from the early jet age. (I dig the cantilevered roof in the concept car; it was never tested for crashworthiness, but the video discusses some of the engineering)
Just puttin' it up in case someone else thought it might be interesting. ![]()

I have a friend that was orphaned at the age of 2 when his parents were killed in the shipwreck. Their cabin took the brunt of the impact. My friend was not on the ship.

I’ve read multiple articles and watched videos about the Andrea Doria. I didn’t know about the concept car though.
