I'm making some peanut butter chocolate chip sea salt cookies for a party later. Pretty yummy. I use those simple truth 72% dark cacao square chips from Kroger and they really work well. Big ol bricks of chocolate goodness

Hi Craigster59- Charles is fantastic, and I loved the videos he did with his Mom. Mrs. Missed Approach and I attended one of his awesome slide shows quite a few years ago. Plus, he's had his own Cherpumple float at the Anaheim Halloween Parade!

I went to his "America On Vacation" side show and screening of "The Long, Long, Long Trailer".
His Modernism, Disney and Tiki shows are very popular.

If there's anyone lazier than me, it is my wife.
Christmas cookies - not even pre-mixed dough, she buys cookies already cut out and then frozen. All you have to do is thaw them and put them in the oven, then decorate. She does make a fudge with Toblerone bars, but it's the evening of the 23rd and she hasn't started yet. She bought 3 bags of pre-mixed chocolate chip cookies. All you have to add is a stick of butter and an egg. But she hasn't had time to make them, so I made two batches this afternoon. I don't know what I'm doing. I wanted them a uniform size, so I used a melon baller to get consistent sized cookies, but they ended up pretty small. Each batch was supposed to make 12 large or 24 regular cookies, I got 36 - 38 out of each bag. I haven't tried one yet. The last few didn't even get chocolate chips. Does anyone eat the peanut butter cookies with a chocolate star or chocolate kiss on them? We used to be able to get a bag of dark chocolate stars, which I preferred, but they have vanished off the face of the earth. I guess we will use milk chocolate stars. Maybe I'll make those tomorrow, |

But I got nothing on your stollen mission. I did refresh my toffee ingredients and will make another batch soon, but maybe try to skip the burning myself portion.

I don't normally make Christmas cookies, but this hasn't been a normal year. So we're making cookies. I do the measuring and operate the machinery, and Vicki cuts out the cookies. This is batch one - Bourbon sugar cookies. The recipe calls for Bourbon and buttermilk. All I had was Irish Whiskey and kefir. Hope I didn't ruin them. Batches 2,3,4 tomorrow.
