The Siege of Khe Sanh
As recounted by a marine who was there twice, again after the war...warning: Damned emotional!

Is all ancient history to most people now.
For those of us who went there, it was also yesterday. We were not allowed to talk about it for years. (society norms) I remember in the 70s, 80s and most of the 90s one could not find a Viet vet. We got smart right away and never let anyone know that we were part of that. It was really unfair to us.

Without a doubt.
Along the same lines, if you have the opportunity, "Hue" by Mark Bowden is a simply incredible read. Tells the story of the city's siege from both sides, its a long read but definitely worth it. A beautiful ancient city of culture devastated by house to house fighting.

Thanks sc_rufctr,
I did see a few from the Dwn Under. I have no clue how they got around, as we never gave one a ride!!!. Everyone else got one, including the Seal team on the Barge dwn the river, where they lived.
