Fact- I have 24 hours to get my act together.


I need random stocking stuffer ideas asap!!!!

Why do I post this?!? - well my wife (and I...) have pets (mostly hers... but that doesn't matter):) which have destroyed all the carpets. I have installed wood flooring everywhere. We would "like" some throw rugs and oriental carpets to dull the new pee free smells of the wood (laminate vinyl veneer - to be exact) flooring I so dutifully installed....

Now... My best idea at this moment is too throw a dog pee stained piece of carpet into her stocking and say "Congrats.... you get some throw rugs to go over the new floors.."

That's a terrible idea. Awful really, but it's been a stressful week.

The take home message... That^ recipe for disaster.

You can do better. Help me! :D

Me? I sort of despise the tradition as I am as inept as OP.

And for starters, I've got a gift certificate for a kitchen place, but that is a credit card sized ss.

The carpets... The pee stained carpets... THEY, take up space.

Tomorrow- I have from 8-12:00 to buy something. 1:00- family function 3:00-5:00 - I am free but stores will be closing/closed.

A nice new comfy couch because asking for help 18 hours before Christmas is needing a miracle and at least you can sleep well. Take the punishment like and man and learn from your mistake for next year.

Assortment of lip balms, Lifesavers Christmas book, keychain, puzzle, perfume jewelry. Scratch off tickets.

Just a bunch of things off the top of my head for better or worse. Browse the section of Target that has all the knick knacks for Christmas.

I think if you get enough small things, some will have to “hit”.

Some bread , cold cuts and some mustard . And a small hand written card that says " make me a sandwich " . You're going to be sleeping on the couch anyway might as well get meal out of it :D

Folks- Thanks for all the feedback, but let us get something straight-

There will be NO me sleeping on the couch. Why? The dogs have already laid claim to the couch and slobbered all over it like Sigourney Weaver's alien friends.
I watched some YT videos of how to make a fire pit in the open snow from some other thread here on birdparts, but that's really not practical. I can't go into work with a layer of soot on my face.

Therefore, I had to find something for the stocking. Fortunately, I ran across a local artisan food store, with plenty of handmade treats and candies/chocolates/etc.
Fancy "****e" in bags that I can't even pronounce.

And route 11 potato chips.

I'm banking my marital future on potato chips.
