I lived in Dallas in the 70s. I was a kid then, but the Cowboys cheerleaders posters were everywhere. Around 1979 my sister's gymnastics teacher was a current cheerleader. IIRC, they got paid $18 per game back then. That was all the money in the world to me then and I still thought it was pretty low pay for how famous they were.
