electrician question

Hi all, I have a question for the brain trust. My wife wants to install a bidet in place of our current toilet. The toilet is in a small seperate room with no outlets, but it does have a couple of gfci (I think) as shown in the picture. Can I switch one of these out for a regular gfci with outlets?
TIA

Really odd to see 2 separate GFCI next to each other and no outlets. I wonder what for...

Big screen OLED, tuner, DVD?

They control 2 circuits. One can be changed to a receptacle and the load side will be protected just as it is now.

That has to be a crowded box and by the way the GFCI's sit cockeyed tells me that is the case.

Are those GFI switches or GFI’s for outlets?

They say switch on and switch off.

I’ve never seen one before.

They look like dedicated circuit protection for something like a jetted tub with heater. If so, you cannot tap into them.

Thanks for the opinions. We do have a jetted tub, so that must be why they are there.

You beat me to it. We had the exact pair of GFCIs in our bathroom. They were for the heated floor.

I assume they are 240v if for a hot tub and jet/heater?

Why can’t you tap the incoming power for a small load like a bidet? Assuming neutral and ground are all there? Add a box next to this one?

Interesting. We have a heated floor in the master with a GFCI breaker at the panel. No 2 gang GFI setup like this.

Dedicated or individual branch circuit by definition is only one device, no tapping in for anything else.

Probably 120. 1800w heater or so on a jetted tub, 20a circuit. You fill the tub with hot water, its not like a spa...and the motor is smallish compared to an outdoor tub. On a seperate circuit from the heater.
