I checked the price of the SuperBox on Ebay, Amazon, and Walmart. They are all the same.
The product descriptions are also all the same....terrible. I can understand why.

I lived through the satellite scrambling era....having 'the guy' come out and defeat the scrambling with a newly programmed chip every month or so for another $50

We can all remember stealing regular cable 50 years ago. All you had to do was go outside and hook up the cable.
It really irks me that I now have to pay to watch sports.

Not an issue with the VSee Box. I've had it about 3 years now. They do periodic software updates that are completely transparent to you. I've never had any issues with it.

No, it works fine for me. What browser are you using ? The standard browser on my TV would not open it. Google would not open it. I use Brave browser on my laptop and it opens fine. Also loaded a different browser on my TV and it works.

I use Chrome...I'll try tonight on the tv. The tv is a Vizio, but it's only a few months old, so it should do it.
What about local network channels?

I have an antenna for local TV. Also if the tvapp wont run on the TV you can cast it from a laptop. I watch a lot of YouTube like that.

Buy a $50 mini computer and put linux mint on it. Put anti-virus, and an ad blocker on it. Watch whatever you want. I pay for prime, but stream their shows off another site COMMERCIAL FREE. LOL

I tried to find the app on the tv...no luck.
Went to their site on my laptop and it said 'only for download on I-Phone...which I don't have.
I don't have an outdoor antenna so it prob wouldn't be a good choice for me anyway.

I might stay with Comcast...I just signed up for the 5 year price lock. (I can quit them at any time) The first bill hasn't arrived yet.

Not sure about all the issues you are having. I just open the the tvapp site and use it. I dont download it. I also just have an indoor antenna.

I'm too far away from any towers for an indoor antenna...I did have an outdoor one many years ago that worked good. I'll have to decide what I want to do with Comcast. Maybe I should have kept my 10ft mesh satellite dish.

The stuff I want to watch...I get it already. Just not happy with Comcast.

If not for the racing I could do without cable. Nascar changes channels several times during the season. The primary NASCAR TV stations in the U.S. for the 2026 season include FOX, FS1, FS2, TNT Sports, NBC, USA Network, The CW, Amazon Prime Video, and Peacock.
Insane.

My Comcast bill, before this 5 year thing, had climbed to $295/month. That included internet and a basic land line service. The tv part included the sports package for my area...BTN, ESPN and FS-1
But slowly, some of the events have started to migrate over to Peacock and Prime.

So now I have Comcast, Peacock and Prime to pay for the same sports that Comcast used to have...and Comcast raises their pricing.

I have Prime, an app called Free Flix and the stuff that comes on the smart TV. Free Flix gets me most of the stuff from Netflix and Apple TV and a lot of premium channels. I dont watch that much TV. Spend wayyyy toooo much time on YouTube.
