I like Escher's stuff. I never thought about getting a tattoo of it though, that was a fairly unique idea. When I was younger and still into drawing and sketching, I blended 2 of Escher's works into my own drawing. I used the hands drawing each other(don't know the actual names of the work), along with the Lizzord one where the Lizzords start out as a drawing that just walk of the paper. I ended up with a hand drawing lizzords, that were attacking a pencil erasor that was trying to erase the drawing...

I have a thing for mythological dragons, so my right arm has a fairly large dragon on it. I'm thinking of doing another dragon on my left arm, then eventually filling in the upper arms into a sleeve that incorporates the dragons and puts them into their normal habitat for the styles of dragon.

This is my only tattoo I have for now, until I get my other arm done.

That picture kinda sucks, it doesn't show all the color variations in the shading.

not liking someone just because they have ink is pretty much the stupidest most dumbass, petty, closed minded, OLD FARTISH, thing i have ever heard

what you're saying then is you don't like me because my skin is different from yours.

BUNK DAT

God please free me of the RED in this world!

I have considered having a dollar sign done in the palm of my one hand and a cent sign in the other. It works for me as money is always coming or going though my hands. Someday...after it's not trendy.

It's really interesting to see everyone's opinions on this.

Being one of the marked, I have to say that I love my tattoos, and I love tattoos on other people, as long as they're well done and have some meaning for the wearer.

I have a large piece across my chest, a piece on my left shoulder, and a small kanji symbol on the small of my back.

The questions I get most frequently are:

"Did that hurt?" Yep.
"Don't you think you'll regret that when you're 80?" I would love to be a bad-a** tattooed granny. I am not ashamed of my tattoos, nor do I regret them. Is it possible that I could regret them when I'm 80? Yes. But you know what, if you live your whole life not doing things because there's a remote chance you'll regret them when you're 80, then your life is gonna be pretty darn boring.

And to those who say that tattoos are only worn by bimbos or meatheads, I proudly wave my Mensa card and say "THHHHHHPT!"

Cheers,

Aggie

I'm a big fan of Jesse James's "PAY UP SUCKER" tattoo.

Here's my chest piece, by the way. In addition to the star and banners, I now have a swallow on either side (in the collarbone area).

I don't think it's technically possible to complete satisfactory tattoos on the palm of the hand. Perhaps Jared's dad can confirm either way?

Now here's an option for those of us with male pattern baldness:

Damn that musta hurt!

FastAggie 09-07-2003 09:30 AM

o my! nice piece, but i bet it hurt like a mofo!

Isabo 09-07-2003 10:33 AM

:D The image of Milu or my husband, Armando, appearing in front of some of their more old fashioned clients with an Escher image on their scalps is too funny:D

Of course, in Milu's case it might be an aesthetic improvement!:D

That is awesome. Without a doubt, that hurt like hell.

Just started work on something new over the weekend. I'll post pics when done..
