Cool tool
Just saw this in my YT feed, great idea, I could have used one in the past I'm sure.

Pretty cool!

I just keep a female mechanic wif small hands on my speed dial ... have never called her either...
Prolly cheaper :) Very cool tho... |
That is similar to the high pressure power steering hose to the steering rack connection to my El Camino. There is no room to fit any standard wrench and for whatever reason it is a 18mm. I did not own a single 18mm tool of any sort.
I had to chase down a Snap on truck and buy a 18mm crowfoot, line wrench. There is just enough room to turn it 1/4 of a turn at a time with the crow foot wrench. Fortunately in 35 years of owning the El Camino I have only had to replace the hose once. |
Thanks for that. Just ordered it :)

That is a cool, and useful, tool!

similar bolt positon that defeated me on 930 muffler 20 years ago. Id like to think I am a better mechanic now and could have won, got frustrated and sawed off a mint condition 20k mile euro muffler. Was worth 0$ at the time but would like to have now.
I think that tool could be a good one for that hard to reach nut on 930's turbo |
Let's not forget to give a shout to the powerful light that was being used to film the extraction. Heck, half the time just being able to see where something is is a win. And as I get older, I'm not as patient when I have to wrench on cars using the braile method.

I’m a tool fool… 🤪 I have two 3/8 Milwaukee and one 1/4 Milwaukee ratchet, and they are a lifesaver. I’m on the fence about buying the extended 3/8 Milwaukee ratchet though. My buddy says it’s a great tool. |
