World Cup Travelers
In a world of doom scrolling I would encourage everyone to seek out the various social media users from Europe that are chronicling their travels across the USA for the World Cup. It’s awesome to see our country through fresh eyes, like a German traveling the South and experiencing Waffle House, sweet tea, Buc-ee’s, and a game at Jordan-Hare. Or a Swede discovering ranch dressing. Or Algerians experiencing KS hospitality. Pretty good and entertaining stuff.

Agreed, such a nice break from the usual social media crap. I've been following Freddy from Germany for a couple of days now. Awesome to see his perspective and appreciation of America!

Algeria is in Lawrence, KS, where I’ll be staying for a baseball tournament. Also a few other teams in the greater KC area this weekend. My goal is to get drunk with some Algerians!
