summer's here!
 

This morning at 6am 70 degree dew point and 70 degrees F, yep, summer is back! Going to 90 later.

We are up in the 90s and super humid. Also been in a good persistent rainy cycle, which has been great for busting our ongoing drought.

Super humid here also...foggy every am until around 11:00. Temps in the low 80's.
Rainy days have been great for my new grass seedings....they could be mowed almost every day now.:)

I'm not gonna complain. I really suffered thru this past winter.

We had good rain last year until Aug, and then it dried up. We went from no drought to extreme drought between then and March. We've had excellent rain since April which is great for the drought. We are very green, and VERY muggy. For the past 3 years, we've barely had to mow, but now for the past 2.5 months, it's been pretty much weekly.

I really dislike summer around here. Too hot to do much outside during the day, grass growth is measured in miles/day, and have to work to entertain/occupy the kids since school is out.

Hasn't been miserable yet though. Already ready for fall though, bring it on.

Dewpoint is 73F right now. Ugh.

Humidity was 99% this morning. What happens at 100%? :D

We are coming into the perfect weather season for Western Oregon. Shhh. Don't let the secret out. But, if you ever want to visit, come between 7/4 and 9/1.

I made it to 2:00 this afternoon and went home.

92 and so humid the wet pavement is steaming. Summer is here. Glad I've got inside work to do.

If considering Memorial Day and Labor Day the start and stop of summer....this is the longest summer we can have.
Memorial Day was the 25th...the earliest possible.
Labor Day is the 7th...the latest possible.
