Technician uses ultrasound waves to watch the other ultrasound waves destroy whatever their tuned to, in real time. Fascinating.

I'd heard of ultrasound used to break up kidney stones, but not this...sounds amazing. Maybe could be used instead of prostate surgery?

My BIL is pending something like this..
they've mapped his brain to treat his Parkinson's tremors... Dr & team only do 4 a week .. the list is long.. and nobody misses their appt unless dead.. but the results a incredible.. Rika |

I've got a PhD friend who works on this stuff as her career at UVa. Her field is vet applications, but they're doing some cool stuff with both humans and animals.

Yup.
This is only the tip. Very interesting star trek tech is about to drop. Not just medical, but power, propulsion, etc... Says the crazy guy from rocky top!!
