Except...perhaps you should contact Ronnie & his wife when it comes to money management? Ghandi wasn't the best personal money manager on the planet, you know. It's for darned sure you don't need any stereo equipment advice! (Like I do... And thanks!)
We all have areas of talent...what the net has really done is to give us a tool to help each other out. How the politicians must hate this!

Your right near me with my -6, -6.

The last time a lot of people took this test on TampaRacing.com the supermajority of everyone who took it ended up the the lower left quad.

Who would want to keep company with all the fascists and reactionaries in the upper right anyways?

I was at -2, -3 and am also a recreational pot smoker myself. I was going to make a post in the OT regarding what kind of pieces people use with pictures of mine, but I'm not quite sure that would be appropriate here.

That test is very interesting, I'm going to send it along to different members of my family and see where the chips fall. Thanks for sharing!

I fell just to the left of Ghandi, something like -8, -3. I'm not really that much of a commie, I just think that the Irish in me caused me to choose strongly agree/disagree too many times. Maybe I'll take it again to see if I can still live in the free market.

I do think that trusting corporate interests w/ the welfare of the world is like hiring a child molester to run a daycare center, though.

Who'da thunk it?

Some of those questions are way too loaded, and/or black/white.

Thats what I thought. I tried to be as totalitarian as possible and I think I might just have edged Saddam. It was too close to call.

"hiring a child molester to run a daycare center" geez that would be bad. Though maybe we can do even better than having our govt' run things. . . go one step futher up the 'nobel ladder,' like having priests to hanlde the daycare centers.

I have got to ask; why in the world would you hold people whom go into government, seeking power, over and above people whom go into private business.

Private business people need to be much more responsive to the people/customers, or risk loosing big. Government people are spending large amounts of other people money, with little accountability.

Here's something for you to consider:
We have ~117 deaths a day on our highways and roads. You can't sue the govt. However, If these roads were privately owned you sue for stupid un-safe road design.

You sound like a man at odds with the underpinnings of your ethical and political beliefs.

If you think you can support two viewpoints that are at odds with each other then perhaps your suited to becoming a politician.

I'm almost redundant here.. but it's the "beliefs" that the voters vote for.. like it's the most unifing common belief.. that some fact manipulator will give you hope, and a reason to exist.. and why is Hillary so popular with depressed females?? I think it's because she gives them some BS to believe in.. I think if you review her lattest book from that prospective it becomes clear who she's manipulating...........Ron

Good point especially when you concider that its people in big business that are really pulling the strings of the marionettes we call politicians.

Then again its kind of missing the forest for the trees to think the worlds problems can be pinned on a few individuals.

We are talking about organizations that trancend individuals when we talk about large corporations and the government.

Presidents and CEOs come and go, but their control of the organizations they run is limited and they only reflect the culture and programs of the organizations that put them there.

you gotta know it's about culture to perceive the everything.

when in conversation last year/ here too, about my last bigbig ride.. i'd often mention of the various cultures throughout the US..
and IF I was around one place/ local often enough, the locals would soon enough question me, with laughter, "how can a local guy have East Coast diction? " ... and I've been able to hang out with bigbig various locals.. I'm lucky
