I used to love Dortmunder Union lager. There was a restaurant here that made a hot roast beef on rye with Russian dressing sandwich. It paired perfectly with this great, soft German lager bier.

I think I was mistaken by Killians...or because I've been to a bar in Traverse City named Kilkenny's. (they might have it on tap there)

I was in Meijer yesterday and noticed a new Dragon's Milk beer for sale......
Smores Bourbon Barrel Aged. $16 for a 4 pack.
Expensive, but it had a shelf sticker that said $8 off if you text Dragon's Milk and they will Venmo or Paypal you the $8
There was a worker nearby and I asked how do I get the text number..it's not on the carrier? He looked the shelf sticker all over and said "it's normally done with a QR code on the sticker, but this one doesn't have it"....He said it will prob spit out of the coupon printer when I check out....which it didn't do.
I paid full price and went to 'customer service' and told the gal what happened. She thought for a minute...punched the key for her register and handed me $8 in green cash!

Btw...the beer is excellent!

Was in Florida this last week visiting friends and we went to a bar and grille that had 35 diff beers on tap. I saw one of them was Kilkenny Irish Red.

I ordered one and the barkeep said "It's a nitro beer"....I've had nitro beers before, but ordered one anyway.

I liked the flavor, but the nitro really over-powered it. I think they do that to expand the life of the keg?
