Best Beer

Title says it all.. I am a Newcastle, Bass, and Boddingtons kind of guy.. I LOVE Rogue Shakespeare Stout, but I can't find it around here.

What do you all drink?

I like beer but most make me feel bloated very quickly, one of the exceptions to the rule is a bar that brews it's own in Casatenovo, Italy called 1900. They also do great steaks.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1059114148.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1059114177.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1059114207.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1059114243.jpg

Victoria Bitter. (Also known as VB - a slightly better version of Foster's) But Bavarians make the best beer in the world. This is one enourmous subject you have started....

Warsteiner and Newcastle are my favorites

DonDavis 07-25-2003 10:20 AM

Fat Tire
Sierra Nevada
Boddington's (mmmm!)

Drago 07-25-2003 11:00 AM

Dechutes Mirror Pond (current fav)

In no particular order:

Sierra Nevada
Red Hook IPA (or ESB)
Hales Pale Ale
Moose Drool
Mac 'n Jack's African Amber

and the ever popular warm Schmidt...but, strictly limted to emergency consumption such as waking up the morning after the first night of camping with the guys.... http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/...s/pukeface.gif http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/fart.gif

Yes, I am a sick man.

Fat Tire is good stuff.. I drink it by the pitcher when I am out west Skiing, and allways try to bring some back. You can't get on the left coast anywhere I have seen.

Before I developed wheat gluten intolerance, Guinness & Bass....sometimes at the same time.....

Not anymore, though. :(

In college, when money was in short supply. My buddies and I would drink Pabst blue ribbon or Keystone Light (do they even make that anymore?)

Nowadays I still have an inkling for Coors light, cause I can have so many without getting too trashed. But if I'm out for a night on the town, then it's Beck's or Fosters. Boddington's is very good also!

Mmm.. I'm gettin' thirsty. As Homer Simpson best put it... MMMM... Beeerrr.....

Ahh Carlton Coldies made it to the USA, eh? I'm impressed!

I was, infact, sitting in a bar in North Melbourne, last night at a ridiculous hour drinking Carlton Draught, my all-time favourite "normal" beer with some friends from out-of-town. We had a lot of catching up to do, you see... ;)

After a few hours, we switched to Stellas and then onto a Grolsch (sp?). Unfortunately, I'm now at work and my head is killing me. :P

Don't forget Lucky Lager!

Don't be too impressed, Adam. Unfortunately, the only part of a Coldie thats made it to the States is my fond memories of them. I was fortunate enough to experience them during my trips down under with the Marine Corps. As I recall, its the only beer I could drink all night...literally ALL NIGHT and get royally "pissed" and then wake up fine the next day (or was it the day after the next day? ;) )

Ahhhhhhh, the memories!

I have noticed that, Randy. It's a pretty good brew. I'd arrange to send you some if I knew the Customs guys wouldn't drink it first. ;)

Great pictures, Milu! I especially love this one...

Beer fans from Nor-Cal will probably know about the fine brews from the North Coast Brewing Co., Fort Bragg, CA.

I like just about everything they make, but PranQster Belgian style ale is my favorite. I make a yearly trek to North Coast, just to sit in the tap room and indulge.

My likes - excluding fancy-pants micro-breweries, just common beers:
- Guinness
- Guinness & Bass (black & tan)
- Sapporo Black (don't often find it, though)
- Pete's Wicked Ale
- Anchor Steam (cuz it reminds me of being single on a damp night in SF)
- Corona (when it's really hot)

Fk the beer and gimme a shot or 2 of some Blue Agava Juice...or maybe some ice cold Russian potatoe Juice....Trader Joes has Moskaveya for $6.99 a Liter....but if you insist on having a beer...well I think Pilsner Urquel is the one to order.
