Between the price of a civic (even used), plus body parts, paint, wheels, etc., think of the 911 that this amount of cash could buy. Then figure he's got $3-$4K stereo inside and some engine mods judging from the gauges/intercooler. That would cover the drop and rebuild. The best part is that he doesn't even realize what a great car he could have for that money. Then again... if presented with two side-by-side, not sure which one he would pick.....

- Bling! Bling 20" shiny chrome wheels - Clear taillight lenses - Ugly spoilers (Oh, wait, it would actually be functional on a 911, nevermind!) - Neon lights under car - Stereo pumping out crappy music - 'Aero' scoop on roof of car - front hood vents (remember, I'm talking 911 here!) - Side Z3 hood vents - Lighted windshield washer nozzles - Fart can exhaust. No sir, people like that need to be kept far away from P-cars! -Z. |
Let's change the subject (but not the topic) from ugly cars that kids drive to big planes that men fly.
Here are a few classic "Oh SXXT!!!" shots. These were taken at the now closed Hong Kong airport. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1077669423.jpg |

I dunno Ury914... that first pic of the airplane. How could that picture be taken realistically? From a building or another plane? I'm calling bull$hit...

I see an outline of the plane...

motion,
Go to Airliners.net to see for yer self. All are real plus many, many more. These shots just didn't need to be resized to upload. The Hong Kong airport was famous for this stuff. There is one shot of a 747 floating in the water and than one of a barge crane picking it up. Paul |

Ok, ok... a member of the great unwashed I guess, at least when it comes to Hong Kong. Wow, look at those apt buildings.. I can't tell if they're burned out or just dirty. Yikes.

Look at the bank angle on that turn! Remind me never to fly into Hong Kong!

Instead of posting filth, perhaps we should just describe it... :p New thread: MORE random descriptions of pics.... |

Guys, guys: This thread is called: MORE random pics.... NOT: How far can we go with 'objectionable' material. or Let's keep Z-man on his toes. Please give a little respect for this board, it's purpose, and the general guidelines. This isn't the place to push the limits. Wanna push the limits? Meet me at an autox!! :D Besides the 'iffy' posts, the pictures posted here are great! Funny, intriguing...etc. LOVE the "Doggie/Child" portraits: now there's a creative photographer! Keep the pics coming! Regards, -Z-man. |

Jacking incident
Last month things went very wrong.
Jacking up a brand new multi multi million dollar 747 requires several special airplane jacks. In this case they tried to jack the plane up with one jack missing, here is what happened. The damage is proof that they were one jack off.;) I'm not getting on that plane. happy landings. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1077854845.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1077854861.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1077854879.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1077854896.jpg |
Hey BD -- can you get titanium hinges for that carbon fiber seat? Anybody know how much a stock seat weighs? What percentage of a toilet seat is considered sprung weight?
Dan :) |
This one appeals to the Hot Rodder in me. :)
