my guess is RC plane

because i can't see anybody sitting in that cockpit, when the engine is in the back, the prop is in the front, and the 2 need to be connected..

Yes, a static model or RC model (see glass), maybe a canting forword of a Curtis WW II wing a few degrees, and a bit of Bill Northrop thrown in for inspiration.

That is the real mccoy Bugatti aircraft. It is based in the Experimental Aviation Association Museum, I believe.

i know the bugatti company built several prototype aircraft in the late 30's. don't know if any made it into the air. don't think any survived the fall of france. assume it's some sort of model.
