This was a mid-air collision during a training exercise in Nevada...I dont remember if the other aircraft was able to make it back but this one did with the pilot at the controls...He did an on field arrested landing. If you look hard enough there is a video of the incident from the pilots perspective. The black square thing in the cockpit is actually the top of the ejection seat.

People knock pushrod motors, call them Neanderthal, roll their eyes at the thought....

The above photo should be a testimony to WHY and HOW pushrod motors can be preferred over a DOHC design.
