That is the kicker with fuel companies. ANY reason to raise prices is reason enough and until demand lowers, the prices will NEVER retreat. And even if they do lower prices it will not be by much. The war was not about lower gas prices at the pump but access to oil. If the prices just happen to be inflated and people are still buying the gas, why not go ahead and take some profit from it, for all the hard work you know.

I'll give you a little hint: look up the stock price graphs for Halliburton and the major oil companies. Nobody said they were going to steal and share, now did they?
