California King Snakes:
Our Gray Banded KS - found him in our office in Irvine about 12 years ago: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1403915541.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1403915621.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1403915641.jpg This is a different one last week. He swallowed the rattler whole - rattle was going the entire time: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1403915875.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1403915899.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1403915936.jpg Digestion begins! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1403915970.jpg |
Great shots, David. Not sure where I got this rattler photo, but it was a healthy one.

It certainly would be a lot more helpful if it showed where the BB's need to go and what gets tossed altogether. Post a pic next time

That's one of those forced perspective shots where the person is holding the critter six feet closer to the camera on the end of a stick. That snake is not nearly as big as it seems... probably less than 4 feet long. You can hold a June Bug close to the camera and make it look as big as a football. Sid don't do snakes.... If it's not about to bite me, and not near my home I leave them alone, but I don't pick 'me up. ;)

Looks like a king snake, looks like red & black touching which is the good guys. Still, wouldn't want to get bit or have him drop onto my head. I might make an exception in this case. http://www.prettydesigns.com/wp-cont...-for-Girls.jpg Although if this one bites you, there may still be a visit to the Dr in your future. |

BTW, people sometimes do the same thing with people, cats, wild boar, fish, gators, etc. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1403930099.jpg Vintage Forced Perspective – Ladies on Beach*|*An Optical Illusion |

I've never seen such clear diagrams on Pelican Parts, and these are organized and clearly labeled. Labeled diagrams are nice because then you know what you are looking it. Keyed diagrams are better yet, find one of those and I'll be very pleased. However if its only labeled or highlighted by the time you are set to buy the part, it's a little to late to be a learning tool, isn't it? Provide a PP link to a diagram of equal or better clarity or I'll just have to take this as another idiot PARF attack in the OT section. Random picture..................one of the rules of this thread. Labeled Diagram of Gasoline Car Engine & Terminology: Gasoline Engine | nomenclature, teardown, exploded diagram | NOMENCLATURO.COM http://www.nomenclaturo.com/wp-conte...erminology.jpg Thanks for the that picture mattdavis11, you have really classed the place up. NOT Perhaps you can replace it with a nicer image now? EDIT: I found these saturated and sometimes smuggy images on Pelican, but they are larger than the other source. I'm bookmarking it. http://www.pelicanparts.com/911/911_parts/parts_index.htm The problem is I have a 1977, a transitional year which often gets overlooked in books and other document sources including the one above. |
