doohan is doing it right. look at the difference of torso placement. the hoodie guy's butt is off the saddle, but his body is at least over the center of the bike.

The "hoodie guy" is my brother. He enjoys his ZX10 as much as possible. Not sure he'llknow who Mick Doohan is but I think he'll appreciate the comparison even so.

ah, well, i knew it was going to be someone's friend or such. he should enjoy the comparison: mick doohan is a legend in gran prix motorcycle racing. the zx10 is a nice ride, ~175HP, IIRC, and relatively light for that power. i ride with a guy that has one. he is wicked fast.

i had to get to the battery and fuse under the tank on the side of the road. unfortunately, i had just filled the tank, thus, when i propped it up, quite a bit of fuel ran out of the overflow hose. i was standing on the other side of the machine and didn't notice until there was a huge amount of fuel on the ground. the underlying problem turned out to be a plugged fuel filter that had obviously been ignored for years. other than that, the ducati has been trouble free. say what you want, its been the most reliable motorcycle i've owned.

this is some of the debris that came out of the filter and the disintegrating hose:
