That's the static pressure at that depth. You can get really high instantaneous, localized pressure on a seal by moving the watch sharply while underwater. In other words, shaking the watch at 100 ft. might be as hard on the seals as it sitting still at 5,000 ft.

I thought Pelican was mostly about hot cars.

Cobras look better with the front clip on.

My guess is the car got wrecked and they couldn't afford to fix it right. But I could be wrong.
