I like your new wood floor. The old one seems to be red cedar or redwood. It is similar to the flooring in my 1928 building. Your new floor looks very similar to the original one. What material is it? Laminated or real wood? Where did you get it?

I still have my old '80s Sony system and turntable and it sounds great to this day.

The stuff on the left is the original; the new stuff is Pergo, got it at Lowes. Interestingly, both HD and Lowes sell this stuff, but you can only get certain colors at each chain, so you can't play them off against each other on price.

OTOH, it's made in USA, which surprised me.

Ah, Barksdale AFB in Bossier City La. If you look closely, the water tower next to the tail is the entrance to the munitions storage area where I worked. I may have even built a few of of those bombs in the picture: ALCM's, 500 lbs, 750 lbs and 2000 lbs gravity and laser guided bombs, JDAM, Harpoon, naval mines (Mk58 and 60's). That rotary launcher in the middle goes in the belly of the bomber turning the that B52H into an 8 shooter.
