When comparing the Chicago architecture to those of Frank Lloyd Wright who was practicing in Chicago in the same period. Wright’s structural logic of tall buildings he designed seems to be the opposite of the frame. While the frame liberates both interior walls and exterior enclosure of buildings, Wright’s structure tries to integrate them as we have seen in Larkin Building (fig.9) and the Johnson Wax Building in Racine (fig.10)

While this is a really cool building to tour it sucks to work in. The acoustics were never considered by my Wright. So you literally can hear someone talking at a normal level from one side of the room to the other. Makes concentrating impossible.
