Great pics joescoolcustms. I love this thread and you have some cool photos. Ignore the few folks that get all upset about a photo that is funny. Some people feel threatened if you question their god or views. You can't worry about the fringe. Life is too short.

That is cool. Joe, my brother is a VW guy. His daily driver for the last 30 years is his 1954 Bug. He also has a 1974 camper he bough in 1976. Someone offered him 18 grand for the camper and he turned it down.

Long story shortened, I worked on VW's in HS, then restored/rustified/rebuilt/sold them to pay for college. Once out of school, sold all the VW stuff, got into big HP V8's and drag racing them for 12 years. Got sick, real sick, sold everything, got organ transplant and decided I was going to live, got back into VW's. So now I am drag racing them, rebuilding/restoring/modifing and building dune buggies.

This is on my '59 single cab. Had to convince the wife it was about the VW.
