both left and right have the same thing.. there's a black bit in front of the slide, it's open on top, you can see the barrel on the left, because you're looking at it from the top.. you can't see it on the right, because you're looking at it from the side, but you can see the open bit on the right as well.
the slide on the left is forwards, you can see the barrel , you can't see an opening, hence, the breech is closed.
