He was wounded on D Day.....was shot six times. Normandy and Juno Beach....he was shot by a Canadian sentry with a Bren Gun. He was a reserve Lieutenant in the Infantry....ended to war as a pilot and with a bit of rep for being buggernutz.

If you can afford a 6 to 7 figure car wreaking it would not be a to big a deal money wise..... the emotional pain would soon be eased by the purchase of another expensive car. Worst would have been that mechanic...oil on the road LOL
