I've seen these before. I'm always amazed! This one is...like...WOW! How in the hell do you drive something like this? What must it sound like?

efhughes3 06-08-2006 04:04 AM

Couldn't hold enough fuel to run for very long....strictly show, IMO.

That's not meant to denegrate the thought and work behind them, they are definitely cool.

brittbolen 06-08-2006 05:02 AM

obviously you need a sidecar/tanker to use this thing...

or a paid of them! handling be damned!

Torque effect would be an absolute b1tch on that silver radial powered one.... You really wouldn't want to romp on the throttle hard!

oil drain down

Definitely a cool bike, but all for show I would think.

Those radial engines have to be turned over by hand after they set for awhile not to mention the bottom plug has to be taken out to allow the oil to drain from the cylinder to prevent hydraulic lock. Judging from the photo that must be a *****!

Saw that bike at the Concours in Half Moon Bay. Jesse James built it.

Stopping it could be a bit of a problem as well without a front brake

Plus, it allows you to hold on to the idea that it's a woman.
