Thanks cashflyer. I wondered what was going on in the photo, but now realize it's refueling.

Heck, now I wish I had made up some story - like the guy in the truck had lassoed the wheel of the cessna!

I like 'em too. I spent 2 weeks in the Amazon forest 2 years ago. It was cool to see them growing in the tops of the trees.

Nothing like this in the Amazon though. I had a couple similar to these, but couldn't keep 'em going.

Those are Cryptanthus varieties.....aka Earth Stars, Steve. They are usually very easy to maintain.

I've had them at my place before too.....interesting plants!

I posted this in the "videos" thread also, but I know it will get more visibility in this thread.

I joined the "pelican club" and the PCA in 2005, shortly after buying my 1978 911SC.
I ran the car in DE and AX events until 2009, when some things in my life started to change (like money availability). Since it was set up for track, with tight suspension, roll cage, racing seats, etc, it was not the best choice as a DD. So the poor car spent most of the next 4.5 years in my warehouse, only being dragged out about 2 or 3 times per year for cars & coffee, and mountain runs with my friends. In 2012, I decided I wanted a Porsche that I could DD. I bought a 996. Then in January 2013, I sold my SC.

Yesterday, I was pointed to this video. It nearly brought a tear to my eye. For so many reasons, I miss that car. I am very happy to see that it has a very good caretaker now, and I know that it has made it to a corner of "Porsche heaven".

The car went from me to a young buyer from Atlanta in Jan 2013, then from him to Magnus around Jan 2014. I'm not sure how well the kid treated it, maintained it, or if he changed anything on it before Magnus received the car. Like I mentioned above, I am very happy to see it in such good company now.

Any idea of he did any motor work to it? Was it a smog legal CIS car?
