This my old gear drive homelite super wiz 66 . from 1958 or so. I found it in the trash. unfortunately missing the chain which is rare and not made anymore. Its a freakin monster. hurts the ears even with ear muffs on. :D

I would think it would be easier to replace the bar and drive sprocket to accept a readily available chain. You could backdate the bar so it wouldn't look obvious.
