No.
I have, however, fired many thousands of rounds while out prairie dog or rock chuck hunting. Not so much for prairie dogs, but definitely for rock chucks, one of the more successful strategies is to shoot down from a high escarpment of some kind, across an intervening ravine, at an opposing rock face. Downward angles can get pretty severe; probably more so than from a ship's deck or high building. With the prairie dogs, we often belly up to the crest of a grassy knoll and shoot down.
