No normal person can eat all of that. It is usually split between two or more people. Most restaurants that serve some silly monster burger do it for the shock value or publicity.

There was a place in town that served a burger that was several pounds of meat and cheese. It usually was cut up like a pizza and a family of 6 could fill up. If you wanted to take the challenge one person could eat it in under a hour and get it free.
