You assume it was taken by a vehicle with no other occupants as this is a more common arrangement these days. Look at the reflection of the vehicle the picture was taken in reflecting in the side of the gray vehicle. You will clearly see that the black vehicle the picture was taken from, is ahead of the gray vehicle. Despite this, the camera is looking forwards. If the rear wheels of the black vehicle are in front of the rear wheels of the gray vehicle, and the camera is pointing forwards to the driver of the gray vehicle, then the picture was taken from the back seat of the black vehicle.
Now this means the driver was very irresponsible and a great contortionist, and took the picture with his/her arm in the back seat, or, someone else in the back seat took the picture.
Of course, if I move to adjust the AC/Heat, shift gears in a manual transmission, flip the next track/radio station button, etc, its not much different than glancing at a music player, or cell phone.
