Scary is right^^^^ Last July I speared a 30 lbs White Sea bass off Catalina Island. I had it on a stinger attached to my weight belt and was swimming back to the boat. I felt a violent tug and was dragged backwards for a couple seconds. I look back to see a 300lbs-400lbs sea lion latched onto my fish. I got back to the boat with only a head attached the the stringer. DEATH TO SEA LIONS.

Did the boom come into contact with the power lines? Looks similar to those types of accidents.

That would be my guess. They hit the power lines. I wonder if they can even put out the fire until the power is shut down. I sure would not want to spray water on an electrified truck.
