Anyone know what the red hash-marks are on that speedo? I've never seen that before.

356 has something similar on the tach (ideal RPM range) and speedo (this is generally the top speed you should be going).

On the 356C, the speedo hash marks are set for city driving - 30-40mph IIRC. Obviously on that 911 it is for "old" highway speed of 55.

Obviously, being in km/h, it's for the general speed limit of 50 in built up areas around Europe. Interesting that they give you +10km/h as bonus ;) Come to think of it, it's probably to account for the speedo "buffer". Clever Germans!

My local shop had two of those crates back in February. Russian-made Mosin-Nagants that had sat in a warehouse in Ukraine since WWII. He was asking $250-$350 depending on the condition of the individual rifle. They all sold in two weeks.
