Yeah, I agree he was laying on a tad thick but from what I've read on these things from other more reliable scientific periodicals, no way in hell would I even want to get hit by one. I am digging your posted S-pain index. I don't watch the show, but I guess the guy in the clip I posted does something similar, all for the entertainment factor. I'm sure one of these days, he will encounter a critter that is too much for his body to handle. Now I don't wish that on anyone, but with my dark sense of humor, I can imagine the producer yelling "don't stop, keep filming" as he goes into severe anaphylactic shock turning blue, grasping at his swelling and closing trachea, all while his camera man shoves the lens into his dying face just to get that great shot..... I hope not but in today's media/drama fueled society, I could see it happening. Sort of along the lines that those morons put up cameras in an elevator and fake a killing as the doors open just to film the reactions of people. Wonder what they would think if someone with a CCW or off duty officer was there and they utilized D.F. In defense of the victim.[emoji848] https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...43098c6530.jpg Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

(The toys are fun, but some of them have to go to work to earn their keep.) The Schweizer was added in April, but the seller screwed me on some of the details and as a result I have a few repairs that I am chasing right now before it starts working. |

Thanks for sharing... boring? Never boring flying around at low altitudes in drizzle. Were you doing utility line inspections? PJ, a local company now does that for PG&E( Pacific Gas & Extortion) here in CA. They got the latest contract. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8059a1fa1f.jpg The pilot on the last contract was a really great and genuine stand up guy. He was emotionally devastated when got the call to pack his trash and get out. An old Vietnam helo driver who was trying to hit the logged 50,000 flight hours milestone before he retires completely from flying. He would be the type to be flying to his last day on earth. Always upbeat and happy and a hard charger. His 8 hour day would yield 12 hours of hard work. Slacker was not a word in his vocabulary. I figured both helos were the working steeds in yur stable. Had a retired supervisor who owned a Schweitzer for his initial flight training at Paso Robles. Sold it when he was done. A handful of years later, the bird was in a hover and the rotor mast let go. It went up while the fuselage dropped to the ground. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

By the look on his face, I'd say that the racoon had latched on to his nether regions in that picture.
