One of my friends has a 160 acre ranch and raises Longhorns. He has a hay pasture and bought a square bailer like that one at auction for real cheap. He had a good hay season and then he realized why it was so cheap. Bucking those bales into a stack in the barn was a enough work to wear him out for a week. He sold the square bailer and went to round bail.

It freaked me out a bit which is why I posted it. I'm assuming the soil is super stable in that region, or the parents are training their kids to be tunnel diggers for the Mexican drug cartel in Arizona. :D

How deep is it?
Kinda hard to tell at that angle ...... doesn't look over 5 feet to me.
Odds are if they drop a ladder in there for egress they are in compliance with the code of federal regulations.

I dug a hole & tunnel like that once in a vacant lot next to our house around fifth grade time. My parents didn't pay much attention to me doing it. Then my dad had a guy with a tractor come in to grade/level it. One of his back wheels collapsed into my tunnel, and & had to get another machine to pull him out. That ended my tunneling activities.
