I love Ford trucks. They’ve been very good to me. We routinely get 400K + miles from an F250 on the original engine and trans.
That said, the frequency with which the 5.4’s launch properly torqued spark plugs is just not right - Ford should have voluntarily made good on these defects. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1519854356.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1519854449.jpg If you count real carefully you’ll find there’s just about 4 full threads in that aluminum head for each spark plug.
