I had one of those watches. Loved it. It was finally replaced by the Timex Model 150 Space watch.

I still have one, but I quit using it long ago to go to my current watch, the Casio Sport PathFinder.

Kinda puts "the world is overpopulated" into a different perspective, doesn't it?

Right...most of the rest of the area in the image is either desert or used to produce food for the folks living in the shaded ageas.

We barely scratch our food raising capacity. Advances in techniques just keep raising the ceiling. The United States pays farmers to destroy their production...

We could produce more food, but what about the energy and the sewage from more people. And most critical of all, the fresh drinkable water. Many cities are struggling to provide water now.

Much of the open area is not a place anyone wants to live.

As for energy, water and sewage, we have significant advancements, just some policy shifts and we could support much higher population.

Well, I missed the re-launch back in January, but after a 30+ mo. hiatus, the Concrete Jungle house has re-surfaced on Garage Journal, and oh-what-a-finish it is!

To highlight just a few:

Oh!
Thank for the heads up!
I missed that build thread and never really understood the shenanigans that caused the shutdown.
